Children's Pop Up Pottery Workshop
When: Thursday May 30th
Time: 11am - 12.30pm
Price: £15 (the cost includes firing and posting the fish to you following the session)
Age restrictions: The pottery course is suitable for children age 6+, under 8's must be accompanied by an adult
Join us for a fun morning of pottery at the beach! Your children will have the opportunity to learn and practice a range of simple pottery techniques including rolling out clay, cutting and shaping and colouring. The session will consist of demonstrations and explanations taking them through designing, rolling, texturing, cutting out and painting their own pottery fish.
The session will be run by local potter Jane Marks, who is a highly experienced pottery teacher who's worked with clay for more years than she cares to mention! She’s fantastic fun and this promises to be a great class.

Bring your kids along for a fun morning of mosaic making at the beach! This fantastic craft is beautiful, absorbing and easy to master. Children will making their own indiviudal mosaic picture. All materials will be supplied and students are encouraged to bring shells, beach glass or personal things that they may want to incorporate in a mosaic.
The session will be run by local artist Jane Marks, an experienced artist who's is passionate about mosaic and works in Jo Downs studios! She’s fantastic fun and this promises to be a great class.
