RESTRICTIONS
Evidence of sailing competence at or above RYA Level 2 or RYA Stage 3 is required to hire a boat at Polkerris.*
The minimum age for a person sailing a boat is 12 years.
The minimum age for any passenger on a boat is 6 years, accompanied by someone aged 12 years or over.
Under 18’s require parent or guardian’s consent when booking and their parent or guardian must be present when the hire takes place.
*Evidence can be provided by emailing us your RYA certificate or bringing it on the day. If this is not possible you can book to do a 30 minute direct assessment with one of our sailing instructors.

We are open from 1st April to 31st October. Our calendar will show you all scheduled hire slots for the year. If you can’t find what you are looking for please feel free to contact us.
In the event of bad weather on the day we will do our best to offer suitable alternative session dates or issue you a full refund if you prefer.
