SAS Autumn Beach Clean Polkerris Beach Cornwall - Wednesday 25th October

When: Wednesday 25th October at 11am - 2pm

Where: Meet on the green by the Flotsam and Jetsam Beach Shop and the Hungry Sailor Cafe.

Surfers Against Sewage are calling for volunteers to join Autumn Beach Cleans as each year coastal communities prepare for winter conditions that create a ‘Perfect Storm’ of plastic pollution on our beaches. Join us to support the community and enviroment as well as the health of our oceans and beaches.

Summer Activities in Gribbin Gallery - Wednesday 9th August - Friday 1st September

Where: In the Gribbin Gallery at Polkerris Beach

Price: £8-£15

Includes Coastal Crafts and Framed Beach Scenes with Caroline, Tie-dye beach bags and cord bracelets with Felicity and Seaglass jewellery making with Yemaya Crafts.

 

Craft Activities at Gribbin Gallery - Tuesday 30th May - 1st June

Where: In the Gribbin Gallery at Polkerris Beach

Includes Fish hangers with Caroline, Beachcombing pebbles with Pip Evans from GlasSea Designs and Seaglass jewellery with Amelia. 

 

SAS Big Spring Beach Clean Series Polkerris Beach Cornwall - Wednesday 5th April

When: 5th April at 11am - 2pm

Where: Meet on the green by the Flotsam and Jetsam Beach Shop and the Hungry Sailor Cafe.

Includes: Free Tea or Coffee for all Volunteers.

Surfers Against Sewage are calling for volunteers to join Spring Beach Cleans between 3-9th April following their biggest year for beach cleans last year with 946 beach cleans taking place across the UK, where 19,500 volunteers removed 64 tonnes of marine litter from our coastline.  Polkerris needs your helping hands on Wednesday 5th April. Join SAS and your local community for a Big Spring Beach Clean  as part of what’s set to be the biggest Big Spring Beach Clean ever! The energy, passion and time given by each individual is what makes this happen!
