Summer Beach Yoga Workshop
Join Emma from ELM Yoga for a nourishing beach yoga workshop. The workshop is designed to help you reconnect with nature and feel great! The workshop will include a warm up, a gentle but deep yoga practice as well as a guided meditation and restful savasana (relaxation).
Like other styles of yoga, gentle yoga relieves stress, increases flexibility, calms the mind, and strengthens the body. Gentle yoga, in particular, can be relaxing and help enhance the range of motion. Meditation causes the pituitary gland in our brain to secrete endorphins that help elevate mood and have a positive effect on the whole body. It also alters brain activity to enhance the area associated with positive emotional experiences. A simple technique practiced for as few as 10 minutes per day can help you control stress, decrease anxiety, improve cardiovascular health, and achieve a greater capacity for relaxation.
